Former Assistant Director At FCT UBEB, Alice Aniwe, Laid To Rest In ABUJA

A former Assistant Director at FCT UBEB, Mrs Alice Onyiyi Aniwe who died on August 10, 2019 has been laid to rest amidst family and friends today at the Gudu Cemetery, Abuja.

The funeral service took place at the Redeeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Karu.

Mrs Alice Onyiyi Aniwe (Nee Samuel) was born to the family of late Pa Samuel Aliyu Ogedemgbe and late Mrs Hannah Aramotu.

She attended institutions such as Institute of Education, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Teachers College, Lokoja, FCE Kontagora and Imo State University.

She has worked at Ilorin Local Government Education Authority, Unity Primary School, Lokoja and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB) where she rose through the ranks of Class Teacher to the position of Assistant Director where she was until she retired at the mandatory retirement age of 60 in 2016.

She was known for kindness and was highly accommodating.

She died on the morning of Saturday, August 10, 2019, after a brief illness at the age of 63.
