Abuja-Based Auto-Repair Company That Trains Women For Free Demolished By FCDA

The Federal Capital Development Authority in a joint operation with officers from the Police Force, Civil Defence, V.I.O and other security agencies demolished a workshop belonging to Joyce Adams Dayser, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AutoLady Synergy, on Thursday in Abuja.

Mrs. Joyce Dayser Adams who trains and employed an average of 50 women, had her workshop demolished by an FCT special task force, just 30 minutes after giving her a quit notice. According to reports, the FCDA accused her of using the land originally designated for residential purposes for her workshop.

However, according to the narration by Uncle Demola on Twitter, it was believed that a court had granted her permission to continue using the land and the FCDA had flouted court orders by carrying out the demolition regardless.

The information was shared by Twitter user @Omogbajabiamila today, March 14, 2020.
